My name is Stephanie Santo and I am the Bens Branch Elementary School Nurse. I am committed to providing professional medical care to all students, in order to promote a safe and healthy environment that fosters learning. In doing so, each school campus is staffed with a full time nurse. School health services include: injury and disease prevention, health education, referral and management of acute and chronic health conditions, care for students with special health care needs, immunization compliance, promotion of routine health care, annual screenings, case management and providing community health resources.

I grew up in Porter and graduated from New Caney High School. I graduated college from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston with a Bachelor's in Nursing. I worked at Methodist Hospital in Houston for 6 years out of nursing school, and I have been a school nurse for 13 years now.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, taking walks, going to museums, crocheting, photography, and reading.
