• Observations:  This is typically those individuals that are required by their college or program to observe less than 60 hours per semester in a classroom.  Click here for procedures on how to complete your observations with New Caney ISD.

• Field Placement: These candidates are those that are in their final semesters before student teaching.  Typically these candidates need a minimum of 60 hours in a classroom setting and are on campus approximately 2-3 days per week.  Click here for procedures on how to complete your Field Placement with New Caney ISD.

• Student Teachers/Clinical Teachers:  Student Teacher/Clinical Teacher Candidates are completing the required hours needed to obtain teacher certification. Some students may have one semester of student teaching, while others may be enrolled in Year Long Residency Programs.
