Mrs. Kesha Cauley, Principal

Hello Mustang Families!

My name is Kesha Cauley and I am honored to serve this community as the Principal of Pine Valley Middle School. I came to Texas from Minnesota to attend Prairie View A & M where I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Biology Pre-Med with a minor in Chemistry while playing soccer for the University. I received my Masters in Education Administration with a Principal certification from Sam Houston State University. My career in education began at the middle school level teaching science and coaching soccer. Before leaving the classroom I taught Biology and Earth and Space Science at the high school level while serving as the head girls soccer coach. For the past three years I’ve had the pleasure of working in this community at New Caney High School as an Assistant Principal and look forward to preparing our Mustangs for high school.

My husband and I met in college, have been married for 9 years and have two wonderful children. My daughter is a 1st grader at Tavola Elementary and my son, who attends childcare in New Caney, is two. My love for this community continues to grow and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to contribute to the great legacy of Pine Valley Middle School. I am truly honored to be here and look forward to serving you and our students.

Mr. Brett Crawford

This is my 20th year in education. I have served in nearly every capacity on a campus; from assistant principal, building coordinator, UIL Coordinator, Advanced Academics coordinator, Student Council Coordinator, AP teacher, Special Education teacher, Head Varsity Soccer Coach, and more!  If there's anything I can ever do to help you as a student or young adult, please let me know. My ongoing goal is to be a leader you will always positively remember and to have taught you life lessons.

While I have lived in Texas since 2009, I am originally from the Boston area in Massachusetts. I am an avid Boston and Houston sports fan and will challenge anyone at sports trivia! I have a deep desire in nearly all things social studies: geography, American history, government/politics, economics, etc. I am serving as an assistant principal for Pine Valley Middle School and will always have high expectations for our students. .

My wife, Sarah, is the testing/assessment coordinator for Cleveland High School. We have three daughters and one son (Kaedence, Savannah, Lilly, and Maverick). We are an active family who loves traveling and spending time outdoors. I believe life is mainly about three things: Faith, Family, and Fun. I sincerely wish to be a positive role model in your life and will respect you at all times. Let us all have open minds, acknowledge we all (including me) have much to learn and become better people together.

Ms. Brandi Smith

Thank you for being a part of our Pine Valley family! I am excited to serve as the Assistant Principal for last names M - Z for the 2022 - 2023 school year! I received my Bachelor of Arts in English and Criminal Justice from Sam Houston University, my Masters in Education from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin, and I am continuing to push through to complete my doctoral dissertation. My husband and I have three amazing children, two in middle school and one in elementary!

This is my first year at Pine Valley and my 14th year in Education. Throughout my experiences in education, I have successfully worked in the areas of Curriculum and Instruction, RTI, ELAR, ESL/LPAC, assessment, and 504. I am committed to lifelong learning and serving others. Through positive relationships, I aim to foster a supportive and trusting environment that encourages students and staff to trust their own ability and take risks in their learning. When individuals believe in and take responsibility for their learning, they are able to successfully apply their learning to life beyond the classroom, school community, and work.

This year is going to be absolutely amazing! There are so many new and exciting opportunities coming to PVMS this year!  As the year progresses, know that I am here for you.
