Hello WFMS Falcons! I am excited to serve as the 6th grade school counselor for this school year. This is my third year as a school counselor at WFMS and 8th year with New Caney ISD. I have worked as an Special Education teacher and as an elementary school counselor. I am also licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and have experience as a mental health professional.  I truly love what I do and will always advocate for the mental health wellbeing of my students. If your child is in need of assistance, please reach out to me. I look forward to working together to ensure your child’s successful transition into middle school. 

Hello, Fantastic Falcons!!!!! My name is Kassie Garza and I am so excited for this school year!!! I will serve the 7th-grade students this year. This is my 11th year at New Caney ISD and my 17th year in education. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Howard Payne University and my Master's Degree from The Texas A&M University (WHOOP!!!!). My mission is to not only serve our students today but equip them to be successful throughout their lives.
